Visiting Vancouver in British Columbia? It’s one of the most beautiful cities in the world with countless sights to see. Once you’re done with Stanley Park, Granville Island, Robson Street and Whistler, how about finishing off with a refreshing day-trip to Harrison Lakeview Resort?

Harrison Lakeview Resort is the perfect family getaway with a number of attractions to keep every single member of your family excited. Enjoy the wide variety of activities or simply admire the breathtaking views of Harrison Lake and the evergreen mountains. There are many nature-centric adventures waiting for you at Harrison Lakeview Resort.

Camping and Canoeing

Harrison Lake and Sasquatch Provincial Park have been popular for camping and canoeing with both locals and tourists alike. Choose from 52 well-equipped campgrounds along the banks of the Chehalis River in the Fraser Valley or canoe down the beautiful river. Hike through the picturesque trails through mature forests or explore the boardwalks and bridges. Go fishing, boating, kayaking, keeping an eye on the exciting wildlife around you. There’s so much to do!

Harrison Lake

Harrison Lake is the largest lake in the southern mountains of British Columbia. It is 60 km in length and 9 km wide. The best way to take in the beauty of the entire Harrison Lake is with a boat tour. Rent a kayak, canoe, pedal boat, stand up paddle boat, pontoon, personal watercraft or powerboat. There’s a 2.5 hour Harrison Lake Waterfall Cruise offered on large cruise boats that depart from the docks at the resort. Enjoy a delicious BBQ as you sail around the lake, soaking up the spectacular views. There’s a floating inflatable water park open from June to September daily.

Harrison Village Playgrounds

Are your kids with you? There are playgrounds on the sandy public beaches before the village promenade and a grass-covered stretch for picnics. Take care before you plunge into the water though. Harrison Lake is fed by a glacier so it’s icy cold, but extremely refreshing. Take a walk, search for crabs in the sand and take enviable selfies for social media. When you are done, visit the charming Harrison Village and explore the Farmer’s market or go shopping for unique finds close by.

Chilliwack Tulip Festival

Harrison Lakeview in April is home to the annual Chilliwack Tulip Festival, Western Canada’s largest and most recognized Tulip Festival. You will also find daffodils, hyacinths here this time. Located at the corner of Yale Road and Royalwood Avenue, past Abbotsford on the Trans-Canada Highway from Vancouver.
